NZ Art Guild Member Victoria Anderson was stoked on Tuesday 28th June when she won the Painting prize for oils and acrylics, at the Mairangi Arts Centre’s annual Students and Members Exhibition.

Also awarded with a merit that night was NZ Art Guild Member and Print maker Tutor Lisz Bodsworth, who originally went along to support her students, she was thrilled with the merit award for her Mezzotint print, "Bubbles" a process that took over 20 hours to achieve.

It was judged by well-known artist Ted Sherwen. The prize was sponsored by Gordon Harris, and Victoria has been commissioned to produce three more works for display in the Albany, Gordon Harris store.
