Using typical NZ Landscapes and Canterbury skies as a main concept, Rachael integrates her knowledge on colour therapy and uses her intuition to create her unique and original contemporary oil paintings. She takes special interest in the Arts particularly in the Selwyn District, and regularly donates to local organisations for fundraising.

In addition to her paintings, Rachael has written and published her first book in 2008 “The Light of Te Pirita – conversations with John Inch, a man of the land.

Rachael's website, designed and created by her personally, has proven highly successful for sales over the past 5 years particularly with commissioned work. She has now been commissioned to recreate the Selwyn Gallery website.
